FAQ’s
Is counselling for me? We live in a fast paced world and often we find it hard to make the time and the space for ourselves. Sometimes, when we don’t stop to think and reflect, minor stress or uncomfortable feelings, can grow and become unbearable. If you feel that you are ready to share your thoughts and emotions with a person who will listen and guide you, then counselling is for you. What if I am not sure I want to commit to counselling? The first meeting is for both of us to decide if counselling is the right thing for you, and if I am the right person. In some cases I may refer you to another therapist that I feel will be more appropriate for you. We can also have a short chat over the phone before the first meeting. There is no need to commit. How long does counselling take? It depends on the issues we will be dealing with. I can offer short term or long term counselling. Sometimes it’s hard to know in the beginning how long it will take, but we can discuss this in the first meeting. Are there any discounts? I offer concessions where price is an issue. If you want to request concessions we can talk about it in our first meeting. |
